Reviews

“Whisper My Name to the Stars”
Reminiscent of early Bradbury.

What a lovely, touching story, so beautifully written and acted from the heart.

Mike Murphy uses the science fiction genre to touch on some very deep topics here. . . Mike’s approach to storytelling is refreshing different, and I appreciate it.
SF without rayguns and monsters if done correctly can be very enjoyable indeed and this proves it.

“Takeover at the Toymart”
EXCELLENT JOB!!! Really enjoyed it!!!

Great, imaginative story with delightful characters. Sure to become a Christmas classic!

“I Wish Tonight”
Capraesque.

This was a very sweet and touching story. At a time when many have a very negative opinion of mankind, it was refreshing to hear a story of simple faith and love. . . Mike Murphy has a talent for creating stories that allows us to ponder these important concepts in an entertaining way.

“What You Eat”
Great story! what a surprise ending.

That was an entertaining piece. It had the flavor of a 50s B movie: stilted dialog, questionable science and all. Recommended!

“A Heavenly Price”/”Ready for the Storm”
Excellent stories.

“Biography”
Loved this story.

This story was so nicely done. . . Mike Murphy got the religious details right. . . These details gave a simple story a richness and depth that made it much more enjoyable.

"Just in Time"
This was a great story. Well written, well acted and so very, very creative. I loved the new twists on the old theme “Be careful of what you ask for, you just may get it”.

“The Case of the Careworn Candidate”
Solid story with an interesting series premise.

Good story line with a nice twist at the end.

“The Case of the Day-Old Bread”
Great show, loved the ending twist. Right up there with the best NTR available.

"The Harriet Webster Murder Case”
Another great story. I enjoyed it very much!

“The Brave Tailor”
Great story. I always enjoy listening to the Jim Nolan stories.

“The Head of the Class”
Great episode indeed. Good mystery and satisfying resolution. I like that the cases get more serious and complicated, and involves increasing amount of characters. Keep up the good work! I’ll be sure to catch the next episode when it comes out.

“The Parker Stakeout”
Nice tight story, really engaging and carried me along.
My beloved and I are both fans of JN, PI, and always consider a new ep to be a big treat.

“The Counterfeit Collections”
Yet another great show.

"Dead Air"
This is a very compelling story. Handling a tough subject with such dignity. . . I even got a little verklempt at the “deciding moment".

“Sides"
Very suspenseful story.

Great episode – good flow and fantastic voices. A tight, tense little bit of intrigue – like being trapped in a tin can. Well done, Mr. Murphy!

"Thanks for the Memories"
This story gave me the WILLIES!!!!!!

This story was all over the place! Couldn’t figure out where it was going. Novel! Very well written, well acted, loved the music. Great entertainment!!!

Creative, entertaining. Listening you can hear the talent and commitment of every one involved.. Thank you all.

"Professor Hoyt's Remarkable Elixir"
What I really liked was that it was proper horror and more enjoyable than many of the films I have watched recently.

"Any Old Rags"
What a great story. You had me on the edge of [my] chair.

Really enjoyed this chilling tale. I wont add any spoilers but the ending was suitably nasty too! Well done everyone involved, I will definitely be checking out your other productions!

"How Melvin Saved Christmas"
My children and I enjoyed this story very much. We look forward to listening to more of Mike Murphy's work.

HOW MELVIN SAVED CHRISTMAS was a fun production!. . . I hope to hear more of Mike Murphy's work here @ Imagination Theater. I like his sense of humor and storycraft.

"Now You Don't"
Excellent! This is an instant favorite. The story was not only fun, but a superb blend of mystery and sci-fi. I liked the tease at the end about the feds. Sequels to come? Either way, this one stands on its own feet as one Kincaid's best adventures to date.
